WHO WE ARE

Ballington Academy charter school offers free public charter schools with a TK-6th school location in El Centro and TK-5th location in San Bernardino.
Our school has an innovative educational experience for students. We take a hands-on, project-based approach to teaching science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).

All students in California are eligible to enroll FREE. No inter-district transfer requirements are necessary. We offer a unique learning opportunity that will prepare your child for success at the next level and into adulthood.

Our Schools Deliver Academic Rigor and Results
taught by credentialed educators:

  • Innovative Science and Engineering Laboratory Program

  • Curriculum is Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Aligned in Mathematics and English Language Arts

  • Full Adoption of Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)

Children who turn 5 before September 2nd, 2024, are eligible for Kindergarten.
Children who turn 5 by June 1st, 2025, are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten.
